Property for Every Citizen on Earth

By owning private property and having enough savings to provide security for a lifetime, the citizens of the nations of the world can live in peace and prosperity.

Everyone on earth needs a home. Every citizen will have a primary property 100 feet in length and 30 feet wide or 3000 square feet of similar shape where they can build real estate to be their primary home.

If you do not already own a property you will be given one at no cost. If you are mortgaging a primary property your mortgage will be paid for by the national bank as part of the national budget. Those two steps will ensure that all citizens of all nations have their own primary property and homelessness will be solved over the entire world. In one fiscal year the entire population of earth will have a home. No one on earth will be homeless again.

A citizen's primary property and home are not legal tender and cannot be used as collateral or be transferred for payment of debt. Loss of primary property creates homelessness and poverty that society has already solved. Citizens can have secondary property and real estate that are used in the usual ways in the free market. Primary properties can only be exchanged for another property so that a citizen is always in possession of a primary property so that society does not degenerate. When the values of the properties being exchanged are not equal then a sum may be paid for the remainder of the balance so that no value is lost and citizens can adjust their primary properties to their satisfaction.

No person owns the world or the nation so there are no property taxes or fees to be paid so you can never have your primary property or home taken away from you for any reason.

There are no taxes or fees to be paid to the government for property of any type because the government has all the value it needs in the nations resources including the citizens labor. Credit only needs to be given for any amount of labor or other resource that is part of the budget to operate the nation for the fiscal year. If city infrastructure needs to be built, the national budget only needs to monetize enough value to pay to build the city infrastructure by creating new money to pay for the supplies and the labor.

If there are not enough properties for every citizen in the nation then new lots of 3000 square feet will be designated at a convenient place for the citizens to live and the new lots will be given to the citizens. If property owners with secondary properties would like to sell their property to become a primary property for another citizen, then the national bank will pay market value for the property and give the property at no cost to the citizen that needs the primary property. The cost of the property will be included in the national budget for the fiscal year. Citizens cannot be forced to move long distances for vacant primary properties. New local primary properties have to be created if there are not enough for the current number of citizens in an area. Some citizens will be interested in moving to new locations and there will be many properties and opportunities for people to choose a place to live at near or far off places where they have always wanted to live. Temporary spaces can be used while society adjusts their living places. There is no need for a single person to be homeless for any amount of time. If a person is mentally ill and is sleeping in a park they only need to be returned to their primary property or their primary property can be fashioned as a park and they can sleep outside of their own real estate. Primary properties can even be used for house arrest for less serious crimes.

Every citizen will also be given a secondary property that can be used in the regular ways in the private sector. If the citizen loses or sells their secondary property they will not be given another one. If the citizen already has a secondary property they will not be given one as part of the national budget. People need secondary property for business and vacation. There are vast amounts of land along transport lines, especially train rail lines, that need regular maintenance. There is a great deal of space that can be used for secondary property along those transport routes so that undisturbed land can be left alone.
